When does the season run?

The junior season for 2024 is TBC but usually runs May to September.

KUC Kickers season usually starts May and finishes  August. No games are played during the school holidays in KCU Kickers.

What kit do we need?

Shirts are provided by the club. The players require boots, shinpads, socks, and shorts. The socks and shorts must be Royal Blue.

Gear can be purchased from Rebel Sport, Stirling Sports or directly through the KCU online shop.

​​​​​​​Do we have practices?

Under 8 & Under 10: One practice a week at a time and location that is decided by the coach.

Under 12: 1-2 practices a week. Traveling team/s train twice a week.

Do we play in school holidays?​​​​​​​

For all school holidays, the first and last Saturday are always game day. The middle Saturday of the school holidays is a break from games.



Where do the grades play?

KCU Kickers play every Sunday at Mazengarb Park.

The Under 8 Grade plays in Campbell Park, Paekakariki, Mazengarb Park, Paraparaumu, James Cook Memorial Park, Waikanae and Haruatai Park in Otaki.  They rotate week after week.

The Under 10​​​​​​​ Grade plays Campbell Park, Paekakariki, Mazengarb Park, Paraparaumu, James Cook Memorial Park, Waikanae and Haruatai Park in Otaki. 

The Under 12 grade plays Campbell Park, Paekakariki, Mazengarb Park, Paraparaumu, James Cook Memorial Park, Waikanae and Haruatai Park in Otaki. In the under 12 grade we also have a travelling team that plays a home and away format and travels into Wellington to play away games.

What time do the grades play?

KCU Kickers: U5s at 9:30–10:15am and U6s at 10:30–11.15am.

Under 8 grade: 9-10 on Saturday mornings.

Under 10 grade: 8.45am or 10.30am kick off, with the 2nd game following directly after.

Under 12 grade: Saturday mornings, time TBC. 

How long are the games?

Under 8 grade: 4 x 12 minute games (no half time and a 2-3 minute break between games).

Under 10 grade: 2 x 20 minute games

Under 12 grade: 2 x 25 minute games
